FAQ

How do I show a public view counter?

Go to A360 Insights Settings Tracking Public view counter and enable the footer counter. It is disabled by default.

You can show total site sessions, total site views, current content sessions or current content views.

You can also place the counter manually with [a360_views_counter scope="site" metric="sessions"] or [a360_views_counter scope="content" metric="views"].

Shortcode colors can be customized, for example [a360_views_counter scope="content" metric="sessions" icon_color="#2563eb" background_color="#ffffff" border="visible"].

Use background="transparent" for a transparent counter background.

Can I track ChatGPT traffic in WordPress?

Yes. A360 Insights detects traffic from ChatGPT and other AI assistants, then shows AI traffic directly inside your WordPress dashboard.

Which AI traffic sources are supported?

A360 Insights can classify traffic from AI and discovery platforms such as ChatGPT, OpenAI, Codex, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Meta AI, Mistral, You.com, Poe, Phind, DeepSeek and Grok.

Is this a Google Analytics alternative?

A360 Insights is a lightweight WordPress analytics plugin focused on AI traffic, referrers, search traffic, campaigns and content performance.
It is not intended to replace every advanced Google Analytics report, but it gives website owners a simple way to see important traffic data directly inside WordPress.

Does this show AI referrals and AI Traffic Share?

Yes. The dashboard includes AI Traffic, AI Traffic Share, Top AI Sources and source-level statistics.

Can I see which landing pages start sessions?

Yes. The dashboard includes Top Landing Pages based on anonymous sessions, with session counts and conversion rate for the selected period.

How do engagement events work?

Engagement events are tracked automatically on pages where A360 Insights is active:

  • Outbound clicks count clicks on links that lead to a different domain.
  • File downloads count clicks on downloadable files such as PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT, CSV, ZIP, images, audio and video files.
  • Phone clicks count clicks on tel: links.
  • Email clicks count clicks on mailto: links.
  • Form starts count the first interaction with a form field.
  • Form submits count submitted forms.
  • Scroll events count 25%, 50%, 75% and 90% scroll depth.

The percentage shown next to each engagement event compares that event count with page views for the selected period. For example, 10 phone clicks from 100 page views shows 10%.

Does this use cookies?

No. A360 Insights does not use cookies.

Does this track IP addresses?

No. IP addresses are never stored.

Is it GDPR compliant?

Can I export analytics?

Yes. CSV export is included.

Does it support custom post types?
